This got me up and running on PB enabled servers..

**Make sure you write down any original DNS addresses to remember them for later once this problem is resolved**

These are the Win7 temporary fix instructions:

Go to Control Panel->Network & Internet->Network and Sharing Center->
Top left click on "Change adapter settings"
Right click LAC and then click properties
Click (TCP/IPv4) and then click the properties button underneath
At the bottom under DNS, click on the "Use the Following DNS server addresses" radial button
and put this in:
Preffered 8.8.8.8
Alternate 8.8.4.4
click OK and you should be good.

That's the google DNS server. Does that mean the Punkbuster guys messed around with their IP adresses and some ISP's DNS servers didn't update yet. Comcast seemed fine though. I didn't have any problems last night. Should be resolved by today or your ISP is really slow with keeping their DNS up-to-date.

Update: Ok, it's also not working for me right now (using Comcast DNS). So I wonder what and how they broke it!?

Yeah from what I've read, you're right on with that explanation. You'd think EA could figure out their own counter-hacking measures instead of using a 3rd party since their hands are tied by their own doing in this case. I haven't seen PB really doing a great job of thwarting hackers although supposedly they are dealt with a few months down the road once the exploits are verified... at least that's the word on the street.
