I have my tactics for this but i found this video to help to understand more about this part of the game.  :sCo_hmmthink:

The one thing they miss is that tanks do have top armor as well as side/front/rear. If you fire a javelin/ATGM/guided shell (I think they all use the same code) that is locked by soflam or citv, aim up. The shell coming down on all these weapons does much much more damage. Also soflam/citv will lock helos and allow these weapons to hit them and jets as well. If you self lock with any of these weapons wait for tone and then aim up and fire. You'll likely get the top armor damage.

I should try to see if rpg/smaw gets a top bonus from a building or something.
