Clan® Medals
-Medal Of Honor This is the highest
achievable medal of the OBC Clan. Because of the nature of this medal I will
not put any criteria down for the acceptability of this medal. It should be
noted that this is the true "Medal of Honor" And to receive it is
truly the highest honor a OBC member could ever
achieve. |

-Joint Service
Commendation Medal It is awarded in the name of
the Joint Chiefs of Staff to members of the
OBC who, distinguished themselves by meritorious achievement or service above
the call of duty.. |
-Loyalty and Dedication This medal is awarded to any
OBC member who has proven Loyalty and Dedication in any various
of ways. This could be in donations, courage in battle, or a tremendous show
of loyalty towards other OBC clan members in or out of the game. This medal
is received via nomination by any OBC clan member for any action. The
Commander in Chief and /or Generals review the nomination and decide if the
medal is awarded. |
-Distinguished Service
Cross This medal is awarded to any
OBC clan member for time served and played in the OBC clan. Criteria for
meeting the requirements would be 365 days of "active" duty in the
OBC clan, and serving the clan above what normal duties require. The
Commander in Chief and/or generals would review all criteria's pertaining to
the awarding of this medal. Platoon leaders would nominate members of their
platoons for the awarding of this medal and would award it to their platoon
member after the review/criteria had been approved. |
-Presidential Citation
Medal This medal is handed out only by the CJCS of OBC. Only he can
recommend a member for receiving it. It has no specific requirements, only
that the CJCS must feel that a member deserves it for some outstanding job or
performance. |
-Soldier Medal of
heroism The symbolic gesture of
absolute bravery in which a soldier goes beyond the call of duty to ensure
his squad’s success on the battlefield. The soldier would be solely
responsible for his or her squad’s victory in the most difficult of
circumstances within the last few moments of a clan match. |
-Good Conduct Awarded for exemplary
behavior, efficiency and fidelity while on active duty. |
-Retired Commemorative Award to those members that
after achieving one year of service retire from membership, according to the
rules. They are still full members but certain rules do not pertain to them.
This is a high honor to receive this medal as it represents your dedication
to the OBC. |
-Most Valuable Soldier This medal is
"occasionally" awarded to any OBC Clan member who performs
above and beyond the normal realms of a "CLAN MATCH" resulting
in the ability to overcome the odds and win the match beyond miraculous
circumstances. (i.e. over coming a 5 point deficit
with 30 seconds to go to win the match)-this is only an example. |
-Purple Heart The symbolic gesture of
absolute sacrificial bravery in which a soldier goes beyond the call of duty
to ensure his squad’s success on the battlefield. The soldier would be solely
responsible for his or her squad’s victory in the most difficult of circumstances
within the last few moments of a clan match, or inter-clan match. Note- This
medal is very rare to receive and will be up to a GOA to recommend for the
awarding of this medal. |
-Bronze Star For heroic or meritorious
achievement of service, not involving aerial flight in connection with
operations against an opposing armed force. Bronze "V" device
worn to denote valor. |
-Silver Star For gallantry in action
against an opposing armed force. |
-Army Commendation Awarded by the OBC for
heroism, meritorious achievement, or meritorious service. |
-Master at Arms This medal is awarded to any
OBC Clan member who achieves a score of 100 kills (SH) in any one game play
setting on a OBC open server or OBC Team play,
match setting game. For CSS a score of 70 kills or higher in 15 rounds
is required. Proof will be submitted by the
Platoon leader of such OBC individual (i.e. screenshot ,OBC members in
server) to the Commander in Chief and/or Generals. The Platoon leader will
present the medal to the individual after approval/review. |
- Master Grenade Tactician This medal is awarded to any
OBC Clan member who achieves a 5 (SH) or 3 (CSS) enemy kill tally from one
thrown grenade in a OBC server during an actual open public/ and or team play
setting game play. Platoon leaders would submit proof (i.e. screenshot) to
the Commander in Chief and /or Generals. Upon review and approval the Platoon
leader would present the award to his/her platoon member. |
-Webmaster/Service
Crest This medal will be awarded to
any OBC Clan member who has any direct impact on the design and/or
maintenance of any OBC websites and OBC game servers. The dedication and
commitment of maintaining the Clans websites and servers
is a great service indeed and should not go unseen and unrewarded. |
-Expert Bash Tactician This medal is awarded to any
OBC clan member who successfully bashes, resulting in 7 enemy deaths in one
round of a "CLAN MATCH" game play setting. Proof will be submitted
by the highest ranking Officer/NCO in the match to the Commander in Chief
and/or Generals- This will only be for Clan Match scenarios. |
-Expert Rifle/Sniper
Badge This is only awarded to those
members that end a open
server game or match, with a score ratio of 10 to 1. The person must have a
minimum score of 50 kills (SH) and 40 kills (CSS). Also the person must use a
rifle or sniper for the entirety of the map. They may not switch weapons
during the round, or they forfeit the badge. They must have a officer in the server to
verify, and screenshots must be provided as well. This is only given as per
request of the officer/s present. |
-Outstanding Donations Given to the members of a
platoon that has made the highest donations for a single year. This will be
awarded by the VP and all donation records will be reviewed and accounted
for, for the handing out of this medal. |
-OBC Medal This medal is given out a
person once they have joined the best damn clan out there. This is a valued
medal so treasure it greatly. |
The
Peace Keeper Medal is awarded to the dedicated members that have gone above
and beyond in the pursuit of keeping the clan vermin free whether it is
server related or membership related. |
-The Medal There are no specific
requirements for this medal. It does however need to be recommended by a LG
for the consideration of it. It can be awarded for anything that a LG feels
the member deserves a medal for but no other medal covers. Details of what
the member has done to receive "The Medal" will be issued at the
time of presentation. |
-The Member of the
Month Medal This medal is awarded only by
the CJCS and is presented to any member for extraordinary service to the OBC.
There is no specific criteria associated with it other than the boss has
been impressed! |
-The Ventrilo
interruption and Babbling Medal Given to an OBC member who
distinguishing themselves by constantly interrupting players while on
Ventrilo and ignoring suggestions and command
while on servers. Also known as the "Talk to the Hand Medal." (Goes
well with ASS Medal) |
-The Uncommon Valor
award Medal This Universal OBC Medal is a
special one and a unique one as well. This Medal can be distributed to a
member for going above and beyond the Call of Duty to ensure his team’s
Success on the field of Battle. There is no set Criteria for this Medal and
can only be awarded through match play in Competition by either the members
Platoon Leader or the Leader of those members Competition Team. Received only
through extreme conditions that will be presented by the PL for review and
decision upon circumstances of situation. Command Staff alone can approve
this medal. |
-The Ass Medal Can be a pain in one, kissing
one, or just generally just one. Pretty self-explanatory. |
-2 Year Medal Given out after two years of
service in the OBC. Anyone with this medal deserves the up most respect. |
-3 Year Medal Given out after three years
of service in the OBC. Anyone with this medal deserves the up most respect. |
-4 Year Medal Given out after four years of
service in the OBC. Anyone with this medal deserves the up most respect. |
-5 Through 9 Year Medal Given out after 5 years of service in the
OBC. A service stripe
shall be added to this
medal for each year served up to 9. |
-10 Year Medal Given out after 10 years of service in
the OBC. |
-11 Year Medal Given out after 11 years of service in the OBC. |
-12 Year Medal Given out after 12 years of service in the OBC. |
-13 Year Medal Given out after 13 years of service in
the OBC. |
-14 Year Medal Given out after 14 years of service in the OBC. |
